Our story
A passion for yoga, shared with the whole community
The Founder’s Journey
Kabeer Kochi fell in love with yoga at the age of 18. What began as a personal interest slowly grew into something deeper — a curiosity about how yoga truly transforms health and wellbeing. That curiosity led him to study yoga professionally, and once he did, he felt a simple but powerful urge: to share everything he had learned with the people around him.
How the Studio Began
Even before Ayush Yoga Centre was born, Kabeer was teaching yoga at vacation camps, quietly building a community one class at a time. Recognising the need for a dedicated space, he took the leap and opened the centre in 2020 – starting small, charging modest fees just to keep the doors open. When COVID-19 forced a closure shortly after, he didn’t step back. Kabeer was out in the community, volunteering in disaster relief efforts and helping with the dignified cremation and burial of those lost to the virus. It was a reflection of the same values he brings to the mat every day – service, compassion, and care for others.

A class for every step of your journey

Beginners Yoga
Our morning beginners class is a gentle, step-by-step introduction to postures, breathing, and the fundamentals of yoga open to all ages.
Mon – Fri, 6:00 – 7:00 AM

Family Yoga
A joyful session designed for families to practice together. Build flexibility, mindfulness, and connection — all on the same mat.
Mon – Fri, 7:30 – 8:30 AM

Women's Yoga
A safe, supportive space exclusively for women, crafted to suit the unique needs of the female body and mind.
Mon – Fri, 9:00 – 10:00 AM
& 5:00 – 6:00 PM

Advanced Yoga
For those who have completed their certification and wish to go deeper, advanced practice for serious yogis.
Thrice a week,
11:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Trainer Certification
A one-year certified programme for those who wish to teach yoga professionally. Join the community of 37+ certified trainers Every Saturday, 6:00 – 8:00 AM.

Private Sessions
One-on-one sessions tailored entirely to your goals, schedule, and level.
Ideal for those who prefer personal attention and a customized practice by appointment.

What should I bring to class?
Wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. If you have your own yoga mat, you can bring it, though we also provide mats.
How often should I practice yoga?
For best results, 3–5 sessions per week are recommended. However, even 2 sessions weekly can make a noticeable difference.
Is yoga suitable for all age groups?
Yes, yoga can be practiced by people of all ages. We offer sessions designed for different age groups and needs.
